A Clockwork Brain. How can art deepen the social discourse of science?

The Centre for Ethics hosts a panel discussion and art exhibition at the Reykjavík Art Museum on February 13th

In the discussion, specialists in the field of social science and neuro-enhancement, George Gaskell, professor of Social Psychology at the London School of Economics and Political Science, Judit Sándor, professor at the departments of Political Science, Gender Studies and Legal Studies at the Central European University and Agnes Allansdóttir from Toscana Life Sciences discuss the question “How can art deepen the social discourse of sciences such as nero-enhancement?”

In between discussions video works by Auður Anna Kristjánsdóttir, Fritz Hendrik Berndsen, og Mina Tomic and Gjörningaklúbburinn, will be screened.

Panel moderators: Jóhannes Dagsson, adjunct professor at the Iceland Academy of Arts and Salvör Nordal, Director of the Center for Ethics at the University of Iceland.

The event is a part of the NERRI project.
